Shipping Policies, Terms & Customer Responsibilities
1. Introduction
These Shipping Policies and Terms outline the responsibilities, expectations, and conditions for vehicle transport services provided by LTS Transport Services (“LTS,” “we,” or “our”). By booking transport with LTS, the customer (“you” or “client”) agrees to the terms listed below.
2. Payment Terms
• A deposit is required to secure and schedule your transport.
• We accept AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Zelle, electronic transfers, money orders, and checks for the deposit.
• Checks must clear before delivery if used for the deposit.
• Remaining balance is due at delivery and may be paid by cash, cashier’s check, or Zelle directly to the carrier.
• Full prepayment may be arranged in advance upon request and will include an additional processing fee.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may cancel your order at any time before a carrier is assigned at no charge and with no cancellation fee.
Once a carrier has been assigned (dispatched), LTS considers services rendered.
• If cancellation occurs after a carrier is assigned, a $100 cancellation fee applies.
• Refunds for deposits, when applicable, will be processed within 48 business hours.
• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to: ltstransportservices@gmail.com
• Cancellations via phone call, voicemail, text, or social media are not accepted.
4. Customer Responsibilities
By booking transport, you confirm that you are the vehicle owner or an authorized agent of the owner.
The customer must:
• Provide accurate vehicle details, including size, condition, and modifications.
• Provide valid contact information and a backup phone number.
• Be available for pickup and delivery or designate an authorized representative.
If the carrier cannot safely access your neighborhood, you agree to meet at a nearby safe location.
5. Carrier Responsibilities & Delivery Expectations
LTS arranges transport through licensed and insured carriers. Carriers are responsible for the care and custody of the vehicle once loaded.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or scheduling delays. No specific delivery date or time is guaranteed unless a guaranteed service is arranged in writing for an additional fee.
Carriers reserve the right to choose their own routes.
6. Personal Items in Vehicle
• Up to 100 lbs of personal items may be placed in the trunk or cargo area at carrier discretion.
• Items must be soft goods only and securely packed.
• Personal items are not covered by carrier insurance.
• Prohibited items include weapons, alcohol, flammables, illegal substances, valuables, cash, plants, pets, and hazardous materials.
• Carrier may refuse personal items or remove unauthorized items without compensation.
7. Inoperable & Oversized Vehicles
• Quotes are based on standard operable vehicles.
• A vehicle is considered inoperable if it cannot be driven on/off the truck under its own power.
• Inoperable vehicles may incur an additional fee of up to $200.
• Oversized vehicles, modifications, or accessories (lifts, racks, larger tires, etc.) may incur an additional fee of up to $300.
Failure to disclose this information at booking may result in additional fees due at delivery.
8. Damage & Claims Process
• The customer or representative must inspect the vehicle at pickup and delivery.
• Any damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading before the carrier leaves.
• Signing the Bill of Lading without notation confirms the vehicle was delivered in acceptable condition.
• All damage claims must be filed directly with the carrier within 7 days of delivery and include photos.
Carriers hold primary responsibility for damage claims, not LTS.
9. Chargebacks, Disputes & Default
Submitting a credit card chargeback after service is rendered is considered fraudulent.
If a dispute arises, LTS reserves the right to provide signed contracts, email proof, GPS dispatch logs, and carrier confirmation to fight the dispute.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action or dispute shall be handled in Florida jurisdiction.
11. Agreement
By booking transport through LTS Transport Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these terms.
